History The primary core of this faculty was formed as aerospace group in faculty of mechanical engineering in 2000. This group launched its activities in 4 aerospace MSc disciplines. Then by collecting materials of space machinery engineering branch courses and its approval in prior programming association in 2001, fifth MSc branch has been offered in this group for the first time. Joint BSc course of aerospace engineering with Moscow aerospace technology university (MATI) was founded in 2004.
