This Vice-chancellery aims at providing working plans and supervising the process of research activities and establishing fruitful links between the University research potentiality and industrial centers and reporting the procedure to the president.
The office is also responsible for the establishment of close relations, through the Office of Scientific and international cooperation, with the ministry of Culture and Higher Education and other academic centers of the world to provide facilities for the academic staff to take part in conferences and scientific conventions. It also manages the sabbatical courses of the academic staff and facilitates the invitation of professors from other local or foreign universities for lectures and seminars.
