K. N. Toosi University kicked off the 3rd International Symposium on Environmental and Water Resources Engineering (ISOEE) on Monday in its civil engineering faculty.
Judging the 800 papers sent to the panel, the jury has approved of 480 out of which 110 are orally presented and the rest on posters.
Environment engineering section is comprised of papers on “water and soil pollution,” “water and sewage treatment,” “handling of hazardous solid waste,” “air pollution,” “radiation, light and sound pollution,” “numerical simulation of environmental problems,” and “ecologic pollutions of the beaches.”
In the opening ceremony held on Monday morning, Iranian MP Abbas Rajaee and Iran’s Deputy Energy Minister Alireza Daemi delivered speeches.
Attended by experts and professors, the event will run through Tuesday.
